Mou-Tse-Ton 毛澤東 and Li-Tsi-Tsang 李自成

About 60 year ago, Mo, a farmer’s son, kicked Giang蔣介石 out of China and became the leader of China.  360 years ago, Li, another farmer’s son, finished Min dynasty and became the king.  They all chose Beiking as the capital.     But Mo and his party has prospered for about 70 years and now china is one of the most powerful country in the world.     Li only played his role as a king for forty days.  Why? Because Mo learned from the history and Li didn’t.

Let’s recall our memory back to 370 years ago, there, hundreds of thousands soldiers looked at a man who stood on the top of a castle in Beiking.  He is Li, who took three arrows from his arrow bag, aimed at the sky, (shoot, shoot, shoot,) and he said: “Listen up! My soldiers, anyone will be hung if he hurts an innocent citizen in the city, rubs any treasure that doesn’t belong to him, or harasses any woman of the residence after we get in the city. No mercy. ”   “Yes, sir. Long live the King, Long live the king, and long live the king.” The sound cheered by the soldier was as loud as a thunder storm.   Could they carry out the king’s order in reality?

On the third day, in the cerebration of victory party, two Li’s generals, Li Yean and general Liu were having an argument. Li-Yean: a decent, able man accusing some of Lui’s soldiers broke the king’s order and harassed the citizens. General Liu, a bad, mean guy, defended himself and his soldiers: “My dear King, my soldiers risked their lives to defeat Min-Army.   Now they would take some valuables to award themselves. And they take it from the rich men and the landlords. So I think they deserve it. Otherwise, they would not respect me and it is hard for me to lead them.  (if you were Li, what would you say?)

Before the king answered, they heard pieces of beautiful music and they saw a fairy lady escorted by several soldiers walking toward the king.  When the light of candle refreshed on her face, every one in the party had the same thought” What a pretty lady!” The lady shift her head slowly and gave every one a look, the eye contact made them feel like having a hot shower in such cold weather.   Yes, she was Chen Yean Yean, the most beautiful woman at that time.  At that moment, the party was very quite, suddenly, “ Pang!” some one dropped his wine cup, and then, Pang! Pang! Another two cups dropped on the floor. All the generals and soldiers were conquered by her appearance. Every one including the king thought: “I would die for her if I could smell her, touch her and have one night stand with her.”

Only one man was clear, general Li-yean. He said:” Chen yean yean is Wu-San-Gwai’s  吳三桂 woman, and Wu is the commander of San-Hi boundary of Chin and Min. It is better we sand Chen back to Wu, so he won’t fight against us.”

But the king was too proud and said:” I could defeat Min’s any army, don’t worry about Wu, and now I’m going to have a nice conversation with Chen in my private room. You guys continue having fun here.

Since Wu set such example, Lie’s soldiers of cause had fun by harassing the women of the residence. 

And the angry Wu Sun Gwai opened the gate of San Hi boundary and brought Chin’s army to china, 40 days later, they defeated Li’s army and killed him.

So, 70 years ago, When Mo stood on the top of Castle in Beiking, he took the pistol, aimed at the sky, Bang, Bang, Bang” and said:” Today is a big test to us, whether we can pass the test or not depends on how much we’ve learned from history. That’s why when they got into Beiking, nobody dared to harass the residence. And Mo himself didn’t find a number one pretty woman to have a nice conversation and still kept the marriage with Chan-Chin. (It’s not easy! You know how Chan Chin looked.)

Ton’s emperor Tai-Tyson 太宗 once said, Using bronze as a mirror can help you dress up neat. Using history as a mirror can help you became a wise man.

So if President Chen, also a farmer’s son, didn’t have his son-in-law’s Tai Kai case or his wife’s Sogo coupon issue; if President Clinton didn’t have the affair with Monica Lewinsky; I believe their lives on presidency would have been easier.

In FTC, We cann’t  imagine if Lillian says” Hi, Allan now I’m president, and you’re handsome and rich, I need to relief the burden of day time job and being the president of Fluency, so you got to massage me and have a shower with me tonight… You think, would you and my wife forgive her and still support her?

So. Learn from the history, you might become wise or worse.   But if you want to avoid making too many mistakes, history definitely is a great mentor to guide you a right direction.         (Bang, bang, bang.).  .
