This year is so-called “the year of dog.”  So I would like to tell you something about me and dogs.

“Dogs are our loyal friends”.This is our basic impression towards dogs. To me, dogs are more than families, lovers and even children. 

There are a lot of people say I am the servant of my dog.”狗奴才”  Indeed, I am!  I have two MALTESE dogs, one is “胖胖”; the other is “美美”.  I have them when they were born for one week.  I spend a lot of time on them, for example, I can feed them with milk every four hours in such a frozen winter for 1 month, and I do as well even till late.  Every week, I spend 3 hours washing them for making them “shining.”  In order not to make them alone at home, I will definitely bring them with me, as long as I have the dogs’ reunion.  When passerby appreciates my cute dogs, I am so happy with that, just as they appreciate my children.  I truly believe people who have dogs could understand my feelings about that.  But in Taiwan, we don’t have many places allow us to bring our dogs. Many restaurants or even parks can’t allow dogs.  Every time when I see Japanese TV shows, I envy them.  Because they can travel with their loving dogs and have hot springs just for be-loving pets. 

Because of the decreasing of breeding, more and more people treat their dogs just like their own children and even treat them better than children.  I am always joking that I want to be a bliss and beloved dog for my afterlife. However, dogs have their statuses like people do.  There are lots of bliss dogs, in the contrary, there are also a lot of homeless dogs fooling around streets.  

Every time, when a movie about dogs is produced, a dog-keeping fashion will follow.  Like “101 Dalmatians”101忠狗 and “Goodbye, Quill”再見了,可魯.  But as the fashion fades away, I am so sad and angry to see homeless dogs appearing on streets.  Before deciding having a cute life with you, I do hope people could consider if their own family allow having dogs or not.  For example, when the space of house is too limited, it shouldn’t have a big dog there, and it’s a kind of responsibility to know how to take care of dogs, train them and dates for having injection and so on.
